Their leader, full of rage sent out one DengMao to begin the battle. At once rode forward ZhangFei, his long Snake Spear poised to strike. One thrust and DengMao rolled off his horse pierced through the heart. At this, the leader himself whipped up his steed and rode forth with sword raised ready to slay ZhangFei. But GuanYu swung up his ponderous weapon and rode at him. At the sight, fear seized ChengYuanZhi, and before he could recover himself, the great sword fell, cutting him in halves.

35. When the two armies were positioned across from each other, Liu Bei rode to the front with his two brothers at his side. Waving his whip, he called out to the rebels, condemning their actions and urging them to surrender. Enraged, the rebel leader sent Deng Mao to start the fight. Zhang Fei immediately charged forward, brandishing his Long Snake Spear. With one powerful thrust, Deng Mao was thrown from his horse, pierced through the heart.

Seeing this, the rebel leader spurred his horse forward, sword in hand, aiming to strike down Zhang Fei. But Guan Yu swiftly lifted his mighty weapon and charged. Overcome with fear at the sight, Cheng Yuanzhi hesitated, and before he could react, Guan Yu's great blade fell, slicing him in half.

35. 두 군대가 서로 대치하자, 유비는 두 형제를 양옆에 두고 앞쪽으로 나아갔습니다. 그는 채찍을 흔들며 반란군을 꾸짖고 항복할 것을 촉구했습니다. 이에 격분한 반란군의 수장은 덩모를 보내 전투를 시작하게 했습니다. 장비는 곧바로 길게 뻗은 장사모를 들고 앞으로 나아갔습니다. 한 번의 강력한 찌르기로 덩모는 가슴을 관통당해 말에서 떨어졌습니다.

이를 본 반란군 수장은 말에 박차를 가하며 장비를 향해 칼을 들고 돌진했습니다. 그러나 관우가 거대한 무기를 휘두르며 돌진하자, 정원지는 두려움에 사로잡혀 몸을 멈추었고, 그가 반응하기도 전에 관우의 거대한 칼날이 떨어져 그를 반으로 베어 버렸습니다.
